Mozilla Foundation activities, week ending 2006/06/30

This is my report on activities of the Mozilla Foundation for the week ending June 30, 2006.

Projects for the week

Here's a partial listing of what I and others at the Foundation did this past week:

  • Accessibility grants. Still working on another accessibility grant.

Next action(s): Do a blog post to update folks on grant-related activities.

  • Certification Authorities. I worked on CA applications from Firmaprofesional, the Korean Information Security Agency (KISA), and Wells Fargo.

Next action(s): Final action on Firmaprofesional. Get answers to remaining questions on Swisscom and KISA. Continue processing applications from more CAs waiting in the queue.

  • Other. Gerv Markham had to go back into the hospital to correct a problem with fluid in his lungs.

Upcoming activities

Here's what we'll be doing and where we'll be in the coming months.

  • I will be in Mountain View CA on July 11 for a Mozilla Foundation board meeting.

  • Zak Greant will be attending OSCON 2006 in Portland OR July 24-28.

This concludes the report.
